What is the Shopify Management Retainer?

Alert Apparel is a certified Shopify Partner and full-service merch operation based in Los Angeles. We manage your Shopify store end-to-end product listings, inventory accuracy, order monitoring, and reporting so you can focus on your brand.

Fulfillment (pick, pack, ship) is handled under a separate agreement. Starter clients are billed at 10% of gross Shopify sales. Growth and Studio clients receive a reduced rate of 8.5%.

How billing works

Retainer (flat monthly fee, paid here) + Fulfillment fee (percentage of gross Shopify sales, billed separately at month-end) = your complete Alert Apparel backend.

What's not included

Fulfillment (pick, pack, ship, returns, warehousing, kitting) is covered by your separate fulfillment agreement, not this retainer. Starter clients are billed at 10% of gross Shopify sales. Growth and Studio clients receive a reduced rate of 8.5%.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a minimum commitment?

Yes all plans carry a 3-month minimum, then roll to month-to-month with 30 days written notice. A one-time onboarding fee of $200 applies to new accounts.

Why is the fulfillment rate lower on Growth and Studio?

Retainer clients get a loyalty discount 8.5% instead of the standard 10%. The retainer commitment earns you a better rate on fulfillment.

Can I switch plans later?

Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle with 30 days notice.

What do you need from me to get started?

Shopify admin access, your product catalog, and any existing inventory data. We handle the rest during onboarding and will reach out within 24 hours of purchase.

Can I add services not listed here?

Yes. Content creation, paid ads management, and additional platform integrations can be added as line items. Ask your account manager after onboarding.

What if I want to cancel?

After the initial 3-month term, cancel anytime with 30 days written notice. You own your Shopify store we hand over access and you're done.
